Call for Abstracts

We invite submissions for contributed oral and poster presentations. As the UK's leading conference for surface science, ISSC27 brings together researchers from academia, industry, and national laboratories to discuss the latest advances in the fundamental and applied science of surfaces and interfaces.

Accepted abstracts will be considered for presentation within the conference programme, which features invited talks, contributed oral presentations, and a dedicated poster session. Prizes will be awarded for outstanding oral and poster presentations delivered by PhD students.

We encourage submissions from researchers at all career stages and look forward to showcasing the breadth and impact of surface science research. The abstract deadline is 18 January 2027.
